Young children with a fever due to infections such as measles, chickenpox and flu can sometimes have a seizure also known as a fit. This guide explains what a fit is and when to seek medical help. It also shows how common fits are in children between 6 months and 5 years. It shows how likely a fit is from the first dose of MMR and the first dose of MMRV. It can be given to parents and carers who have concerns about fits.
