This leaflet gives details about the flu vaccination programme for primary school aged children including how the programme is delivered and the role schools play. Every Autumn all primary school aged children in England (from Reception to Year 6) are offered a flu vaccination by the NHS school aged immunisation service. This guidance has been produced to assist all school staff and headteachers with any questions about the annual flu vaccination programme for 2025 to 2026.
