From 01 July 2025, all children born on or after 01 July 2024 will be offered their second dose of MMR in a new appointment at 18 months rather than at 3 years and 4 months. This leaflet explains the immunisations offered to children in accordance with the changes to the routine childhood immunisation programme. Having your 18 month old child vaccinated is important to build their protection from infectious disease. Don't forget your pre-school appointment when your child is 3 years 4 months.
