This is a guide to the MMRV vaccination for parents of eligible children aged 1 year and at 18 months. This leaflet should be given to parents with any invitation to attend a MMRV appointment. It explains the diseases, risks of symptoms, vaccination and the common and less common side effects and how to manage them and how to report them to the MHRA yellow card scheme. This guide is for parents and carers of infants aged 12 months to 3 years 4 months. Routine vaccinations start with your first (priming) doses as a baby. Get your child's boosters at the right age, or soon after, to help provide life long protection.
