This leaflet describes the risks of repeated infection with gonorrhoea and the protection that Men B vaccine may offer to reduce the chances of repeated infection and passing the infection on to someone else. It explains the two dose course of vaccine and the side effects and how to report them to the yellow card scheme. From August 2025, gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men who are considered at higher risk of gonorrhoea infection are being offered the meningococcal group B vaccine called 'Bexsero'.
